Of course flying would be the fastest - but driving would be cheaper, more comfortable that a bus - you could make the trip in less than 24 hrs and it could be non-stop if you are going with another person so that one driver could sleep. Or stay the night at an inexpensive motel and drive in the next day.
A train would take a little longer but would be fun...:)

Well, obviously the fastest way would be airplane, but buying a ticket at the last minute would be expensive. The cheapest would be by Greyhound bus, but that wouldn't be anywhere nearly as fast a plane.

Call up Harrah in Reno and tell them you're a high-roller. It may send out a private jet for you for free. ... but you may have to play in the high-roller-room. This may not be cheap if you loose.
In reality, driving is cheap but will take some time. Flying has a lot of hassle unless you're not gonna take anything onboard.

unfortunately you can't get fast and cheap. The fastest of course would be to fly but cheapest would be train or bus. Definately not drive with our gas prices over $3.00
