A New Hope used to be called just Star Wars, y'know.
The Empire Stikes Back, but the original sequel involved Luke and Leia called Splinter of the Mind's Eye. There was a bit of romance, too, but this was before the whole brother/sister idea.
Return of the Jedi was originally titled Revenge of the Jedi, but Jedis aren't supposed to get revenge or something so they changed it at the last minute.
