first-be sure your skin is clean (if you have pimples or acne, dont use/put any harsh beauty products,to avoid infections and worsening of the infected area.)but if you have smooth skin, before applying any branded cosmetics, try to test it, by applying minimal amount, if no redness or itcheness then you can apply it. putting/applying make-up, first apply a moisturizer, wipe it off (its a based coated to protect your skin, then apply whatever cake foundation or liquid or whatever you prefer to apply, but be sure its hypoallergenics products. There are so many hypoallergenics products choose the best for you. if your skin is oily theres a product also for oily skin, if your skin is dry theres also a product for dry skin. There are so many good branded make-up products, or to be sure, consult a dermatologist or a beauty consultant. You didnt mention the type of skin you have. I have a smooth skin and no wrinkles yet. lol

Bare minerals is great, I love their blushes, very natural looking, and I also use Merle Norman skin care.
