Yeah you most likely can't store dead bodies in your home without some sort of permit unless you live in a particular jurisdiction which has no such regulations, ordinances, or statutes regarding storage of corpses.

actually, I recently saw (I think it was on discovery?) where people are getting their pets freeze dried/preserved more & more (totally creepy)...anyway the guy who is doing a lot of it is based in PA I think. He said he does not think it will be long before folks start wanting to do that.
Totally disgusting IMO - but I guess to each his/her own. (ewwww)

Actually it is. There is nothing to say that you cannot keep the dead in your house. A man did it for decades. I don't think she was stuffed, but she (his wife) was kept in the house. He even slept next to her.

I don't see how it could be, but it is a bit morbid. And I don't know of any taxidermy services that will do that to a human.
