You're waiting for something and you look at clock and only 30 seconds have passed since the last time you looked but it feels like an eternity.

As the old saying says

"like watching paint dry" or "like waiting for the water to boil"

My most memorable moment when time stood still was driving on the Highway and seeing a car accident, going to see if the people were alright and realizing it was my grandfather.... Not knowing if he was going to live or die, waiting for the ambulance to come.... boy oh boy..... Time did stand still and I was in a zone of my own cause everything happening around me was so unreal at that time. Hard to explain and I hope you never have to experience it.

By the way, it's almost three months later and my grandfather is doing very well. He's 80 and still going strong....:-)

Yes, the last hour at work, I'm sure the clock was set to go slower that last hour, and even worst the last 20 mins

Yes, but I cure that by turning all the clocks ahead and letting everyone at work think that it is really an hour later!!!

yes. This happens a lot when I am waiting for anything. There are other times that time feels like it is flying like crazy.

Yeah. When I am trying to pass time I feel like that, that time goes on forever or has stopped.

I feel like that a lot lately. Especially when I'm at work. But, life is short, there is no sense in wishing time away, right? :-)

yeah, and in a terrible way. the last couple hours of work are that way, they are just a drag! and then time has stopped in a good way, like, when i first met my husband, and all i could do was just stare at him and it seemed like time stood still.
