newborns sleep alot so there isnt much to do at first. as they get older try to things with them like games, rolling a ball, peekaboo, just give them attention, patience no matter what, and always keep trying something no matter how silly

it was sweet of you to offer, but in most states you are too young to watch an infant. technically, you are too young to be left home alone, the age for babysitting is 13, and i think it is older when watching children under 1. but a good start would be to ask your parents to sign you up for a babysitting skills class. these normally teach CPR and other things about childcare.

Well a newborn sleeps alot so at first ,so I would suggest findin somethin to do while he or she sleeps.Babies usually eat every 4-6 hours. When he or she crys it could be for several reasons.Cold or to hot,Hungry,Needs a diaper change,or sometimes they just love to be held. When the baby gets older you can play simple games with them to keep them happy. The main thing is little kids love to play .Good luck

No offense but a 12 year old cannot handle an infant unless an adult is in the same house.

just depends on the kids. The baby will either sleep alot, or cry alot. The older girl will like alot of stuff you do. T.v. ,Music, just depends on her interests. It will work out. Just love that baby.

Have your daughter help and interact with you and the new baby. She may enjoy playing the role of "big sister" and a helper to you.
