Lisa,
Trust me when I say I can NEVER forget;
I remember every yr. on my birthday,Sept.11,1964...
We were just starting our work day when all crews
were called back to the shop & office by
our Public Works director when news reports
of the 1st plane striking.
Not thinking it was on purpose but just a "fluke",
We started out once again to go to work only
to be called back again moments later when the
2nd plane struck...
We stayed in the office the rest of the day watching reports,in disbelief,as they came in
about WTC,DC,& PA.
So no Lisa, I cannot & will not ever forget what
happened on September 11,2001...

It is hard to miss the fact that we are heading into the Five-Year Anniversary of "9/11." With movies like "Flight 93" and "World Trade Center," television documentaries and docu-dramas, and the numerous news reports and opinion polls, I can imagine that some people would be just as happy to let the day come and go. Part of me wants to do that same – I spent the One-Year Anniversary whale-watching off the coast of British Columbia so I wouldn't have to watch the non-stop footage and relive that painful day. This year will be different. I will remember because I want to remember. And what I will remember are the things that really count.
I will remember the light of a million candles chasing away the darkness.
I will remember the self-less bravery of those who gave their lives trying to save others.
I will remember the clogged phone lines as everyone spent the day calling family and friends, no matter where they were, just to hear their voices and make sure they were okay.
I will remember the willingness of people to donate blood; willingness so great that they were asked to come back at another time.
I will remember the swell of patriotism without politics; the seas of red, white, and blue.
I will remember people gathering despite religious differences to pray for our nation.
I will remember the purity of the children who cried for those who died, asked why "the bad people" would do this and yet were able to find hope in the future.
And I will remember a world that set aside its differences and came together in grief and support. Two days after the attacks, the French newspaper "Le Monde" ran the headline "Nous sommes tous Américains" – "We are all Americans." I want to remember that on that day, amidst so much hate and pain and loss, we were all more than that. We were all one human race.
I hope you will remember, too.

I will NEVER forget 9/11! Something very, very small inside of me wants to forget about the dead, the tragedy itself, but maybe the military man in my head, the patriot in my heart, and the flag that I served under that's tattooed in my soul is what keeps me from forgetting. Thank God for these things and God bless America!!!!!

I agree it was a tragedy , It is very sad that many lives were lost but memories will continue . And I doubt that ANYONE will forget what happened . The Government wont let that happen as long as Bush stays president ... and they air it on TV continuously showing what happened on that day . In my opinion no one will forget but I think they should not show it on TV it is to horrific and I'm sure postpones the grieving of the family's that lost loved ones . It needs to be put to rest and those who lost there lives rest as well for the sake of grieving family's.

each and every so often i think of a few human beings have too plenty time on their hands. of direction, a number of those coincidental data are eerie. there became into yet another video on YouTube that stated puffs of smoke that regarded like a planned implosion, and how the construction fell quicker than it might desire to have with the aid of gravity, and likewise how the steel it became into supposedly built from would desire to have been able to a techniques stand up to the warmth led to by the jet gasoline. i can't locate it now. it is like a 20 minute video. Now THAT one is unusual to make certain, and it delivers a great form of scientific data.
