The requirements depend on where you live. I'm 18 and I'm certified as a Child Care Assistant...which basically consisted of me going to the daycare where I was going to be working, them making me fill out some forms and stuff, and paying $10 to get a child abuse registry check done. Very simple...I worked at the daycare throughout the summer, and now I will be working casually as a substitute...it's a great job for me as a student. However, if you are considering it as a career, you should go to a community college, and take a 2-year diploma and get your ECE II at least...your pay will be quite a bit better.

If you are good at communicating with people and if your friends and relatives listen to what you have to say, or if anyone in your family is a person to whom people turn to for advice, then you could think of promoting the use of unbranded, tailor-made herbal solutions as a remedy for handling stress and emotional problems.
These herbs are legitimately available in organic food stores and Homeopathic Pharmacies across the US.
These remedies are especially focussed on stressed-out parents and their troublesome children ( of all age groups ).
You would not be required to sell anything. Neither would you have to invest any money.
You would have to convincingly put across the idea of using herbs safely and effectively and with no side-effects, and build up a client base, in your neighbourhood, or on the Net ( or both ), under expert guidance.
You could check it out.

So you want to make like 6 bucks an hour? Do you really want to get a license to do that when you could make twice that at Target and be mind-numbingly stupid and lazy at the same time without a license?

Requirements depend on where you are working. Most places you probably wouldn't need a license, but would need clearances (checks for criminal background and child abuse).
