i dont think i would ever get on a plane after what happened on
9\11 u think that is dumb...?

Hell no it's not dumb!!I have a once in a lifetime chance to go to Hawaii to see my dad I haven't seen for 23 years and I won't get on a plane!!!
We all have a reason to be scared,I sure won't be getting on a plane until I feel I'm safe from terrorist attacks!!

Its not dumb, but the likelihood of something like that is very slim. I personally love flying and I've been many times in the past 5 years. The security is pretty pumped up. Of instance, I went on a plane just a month before 9-11-01 and you could fly trough security, now they stop you for almost anything. I don't mind it, it makes me feel safer.

Planes are safer now after 9/11 than they've ever been in the entire history of aviation. You're much more likely to die in a car accident than on a plane.

I can understand that feeling. I do not have to fly very often, but I do not let the horror of 9/11 rule my life. I go about my life and refuse to let the terrorists win by making me change the way I live my life. It is bad enough the deaths that occurred on that horrible day will live on in our minds and hearts forever. We all have to do what is the best for us, as individuals; so you are allowed to make that choice for yourself. Have a good night!

Yeah. I've been on 5 plane trips since 9/11. Security is better now; they check really thoroughly. You can't live in fear -- that's letting Them win.

it's not dumb, but it is unrealistic. you cannot limit yourself to travelling by car instead of travelling by plane. there are too many beautiful places in this world to miss out on because of your fear. your doctor can prescribe something to relax you if you do ever decide to fly. my mom's boyfriend does it all the time. good luck
