People who are both intelligent and kind-hearted... I find that people with these characteristics often have a great sense of humor, but would never laugh at others; it takes imagination to be able to empathise with others, and that too stems from intelligence...
Those with both the brains and the heart to appreciate the good in life, and the disposition to want to share it with me :-)
I'm also attracted to people that I can't quite figure out, but I have a good feeling about. And I've discovered some real gems behind the smart-aleck facade...

People who seem independent, carefree, passionate, and have a determined and optimistic personality to them. I always find these people interesting. I've never really noticed a person like this in my scope of the world. Romantic people so to speak; kind of like alot of characters in hollywood movies: like the main characters in Garden State (Zach Braff) and Titanic (Leo Decaprio). People who risk their reputation to follow their destiny and do not conform. Oh and almost any talented poet out there: Anahis Nin, and lots of singer/songwriters. Basically artistically inclined romantic people. Mundane/miserable/trivial/ people bore the **** out of me and get on my last nerves....

intellectuals. professors. introverted little genuises with a brilliant sense of humor and from whose mouths pour a wealth of information everytime they speak. People you can just sit with and listen to for hours. I love those deep conversations that continue long into the night.. about all the philosophical questions. I love to surround myself with brilliant people.

Interesting as in admire (want to be like), or interesting as in weird? If the former, people that are so low-key that almost nothing gets them riled, they are interesting.

Ones who at one point lied and snuck around to save their own rear, (for a good cause, nothing like drugs) and it did or did not work out for them. Ones who have a story to tell.

i like people with big personalities. shy people do nothing for me, they're just boring. i like when people have something to say and contribute to a conversation.
