I think it's a terrible event that happened like any other event that happens at war. I think it's good to mourn on the day it happened to acknowledge what was lost. But at the same time I find it irritating to be mourning over an event that wasn't fully explained so we knew the whole story, and give more meaning to our mourning.

People are cruel all over the world, I find it more meaningful when I know everything that caused the pain in the first place.

It's kind of like when I just to feel bad for my mother because of my fathers behavior, and supported her during her tough times, but then learned that she decieved my father as well. After I knew the whole story, I felt better about my feelings about them both.

I think it is sad, not just what happened but the fact that the event is being used so spectacularly poorly as a tool. It is sad that people died, but it is sadder that their deaths launched a false war and helped this administration strip us of our rights and privacy.

Although it was sad I do try to forget. Today was different for me somewhat.......my child is sick so today I was concentrating on getting him better.
