they're all funny in different ways:
joey- because he's so dumb, but he's so sweet you have to love him anyway!
chandler- totally sarcastic (like me!)
monica- anal and ocd
rachel- kind of ditzy and a pushover, but also sharp sometimes
phoebe- in her own little world, it's funny
ross- adorable geek!
i would probably say the guys are funnier in general, but i love them all!

Phoebe by far the funniest has some absolutely cracking lines and has the best songs

Phoebe then Joey.
Chandler was really funny at the start, but he lost his sparkle during the last few series when he was with Monica.
