I was 6 years old. I was geting ready for school when the phone rang. It was our friend Loopy, who told us to turn on the news. We watched for a few minutes before we had to leave for school, then we listened to the radio in the car. For the rest of that week, that was all everybody in the school (Teachers and students, even us first graders) could talk about. For me, 9/11 is a horrible experience, and the only good that comes out of it is that our nation was brought closer together, not further apart.

Decrepid, sickening, sorrowful.

The world seems like it's soon coming to an end.

I mean, don't you think this could lead into a big outbreak?

Don't you think it's time to stop playing kid's games, and get the big bombs out...the ones that take out countries in a flash?

I say, get it over with, and then we'll sort it all out when the dust settles.

I don't know about you, I'm tired of this crap.

It opened my eyes to the fact that we will never really be safe. It's possible that it could happen again. While our government are planning and attacking them there, they are already placed here. We just don't know who and where they are. It scared the hell out of me. I feel so sad for those who lost loved ones. This is an moment in time I could never forget even if I tried. We all need to remember this day for as long as forever.

I know it happened 5 years ago and while we shouldn't forget about this tragedy I don't like how it is brought up in the news daily.
How can anyone move on with their lives if they are reminded daily?

Well, I'm Canadian and I think it was catastrophic, senseless, and very sad. I bawled when I seen those twin towers get hit, and I think it's very commendable that people still remember this day.

I think that it is awful that so many people's loved ones were killed. Even though I never knew those people, I will still remember them.
