i just got a sandisk sansa but i dont know how to put the music,pictures, or videos in there. i already have songs in my computer an i have limewire. do you need a program or something that you use to puy music in there or do you have to pay to get the songs and then buy stuff

I bought the smaller Sansa for my husband and it was fairly easy to put songs on it. I used both Real player and Windows media player to do so make sure you have the most current versions of these media players though. Make sure your Sansa is connected to your computer.For Real Player you have to click on Burn/Transfer and for Windows Media Player you have to click on Sync. On both you can choose your songs from your existing personal music library. You do not have to purchase more music online unless you want to.

If the sansa didn't come with a cd, then you can drag and drop into the sansa itself, but you would have to set it to automatic in the sansa so that the computer will detect it when you plug it into the usb. Just go into your sansa's settings and find USB, then set it to automatic, you should then be able to detect it once plugged into your computer. Open windows explorer, and just drag songs and drop them into your sansa.

you should be about to just put the card in and right click on the start menu botton and click explore. the disk should show up in one of the removeable hardware spots on the bottom of the menu on the left side of the window. then just click and drag.
