What do you do to live a more environmentally friendly life?

Question

What are all of the things you do in your day to day life that makes your life more environmentally friendly.
Consider:
what and how you eat
what you wear and how you get your clothes
how you travel and how far
how and where you shop
what kind of work you do and what are it's effects
what do you for fun and recreation.

eat: some organically grown veggies...many from own garden
clothing: I buy mostly 2nd hand clothing (reuse)
travel: cut down on trips to town
shopping : again, 2nd hand for many things...sometimes freecycle and curbshopping
job: domestic goddess LOL (homemaker)
fun: spend time with family doing simple things...mostly at home or near home

It is very difficult in our present day and out system sort of forces everyone to live over the edge. I drive less.. I do not use insecticide on my lawn and the neighbors complain because I have lots and lots of bird that seem to feed there and they said if I had added insecticide, it would kill all the bugs and then no birds.. but I have refused. I save on electricity whenever I can, and tons of other things..

i try to be environment friendly. I am a vegetarian. i dont wear leather...or any type of animal. When possible i walk to my destination. Or I take the bus that uses natural gas. And i dont smoke. I very seldomly use anything that makes smoke. Unless i burn something im cooking, THEN its an accident and not intentional.OH YEAH! and i recycle! and i NEVER litter.

Recycle, repair items. Organic gardening. Use Biodegradable soaps. Low water flush toilets. Reuse paper & plastic bags.
We don't litter. Try to not run to the store unless we do several errands at that time.
