Angel, On #1, josh means: How did ponyboy see bob, and how cherry see Bob. Remember how he thinks bad of him, she thinks he can be sweet.
On #3, he's talking about the courtroom, when he says they didn't even let him talk and stuff. It's in the last chapter.
