How do I change the line on a gas powered weed eater?

it's rubber use needle nose pliers and pull it off the carb and out of the tank

Do you really mean the tiny gas tube, or are you rather talking about the line you pull to start the engine?

Take off the cap

Then wind the line around it

Put the cap back on
