If I had to choose, I would pick Water dragon. Ive learned ffrom experience though that building a deck around a single card can be dangerous, because the card(s) could be easily destryoed with things like Bottomless Trap Hole. I suggest building a deck around a certain type of monster, like warrior, spellcaster, beast, dragon. This way you can still use the cards you want, but there are other options to work with as well

Each of those cards is a potential decktype.

Dark Paladin-For him I'd go with a Spellcaster themed deck with Dark Magician support like Dark Magic Attack and Thousand Knives and general Spellcaster support like Magical Dimension. Buster Blader has a little support. Mostly Skilled White Magician and Emblem of Dragon Destroyer.

Water Dragon-Water Dragon needs alot of support card for it to really work. The main theme of the deck should be Dinosaurs, which is what Hydro and Oxy are. Dinosaurs have a ton of new support in Power of the Duelist.

Shinato-Shinato should be the heart of a Fairy themed deck. Fairy's have alot of support, mostly from Ancient Sanctuary.

If I had to choose, I would also say Water Dragon b/c it's the easiest to summon. As far as ability goes, I would say Shinato is better. But anyways, I would suggest a deck built around Chimeratech Over Dragon. It's going to see some major play in SJC and other tournaments. Well, good luck with your deck and I hope this helps.

Hmm... good question. They all work well...

Palidin is a fusion so can be hard to get out, and shinato takes time... But water dragons are easily summoned.

So, I suggest you choose Water Dragon.

water dragon only because there are so many cards that are dragon specific that you can add to make your deck mad crazy.
