For the PS2, Katamari Damachy is a game I highly recommend- parents can play easily with their kids, even if they are not gamers!
It's also really weird and trippy.

If you own a Nintendo Game Cube, any Mario, and well, if you own a GC, most are kid friendly! For PS2, Katamari Dimachy, Sly Cooper (all 3), Spyro (all of them), Kingdom Hearts, and most puzzle games are cool. Check out the ratings on the games, they are spot-on!

Katamari, Also Kingdom Hearts isn't TOO bad, and the Lego Star Wars series is deffinately a good one to get
