I have heard that Parkland Hospital near downtown Dallas accepts pts. that don't have ins. Maybe you could call them to verify this first. Best of luck to you.

Call any nonprofit, especially one dealing with your type of cancer....they can help you through this, since they have already done the research. Also, try to find out about the new treatments that are being tested as well as your local department of health. I read the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz, and you would be amazed on programs that are out there at discounted prices. Also, do you have a good relationship with your oncologist? Explain your situation to him/her and they may be able to help you with discounts and other resources....get the book, it can really help you. Oh, and don't forget to ask the hospital if they have a case worker/patient navigator. Something else the book talks about......you can find this book at your local book store for about $15 or on www.amazon.com for about $10...good luck.
