I was in the third grade and i remember my teacher told us at 2:30 what had happened. Where were you?

I was in bed listening to the radio. I jumped out of bed when I heard the news the first plane had hit, and hit my head on the ceiling fan. Ran to the TV. Spent next several days getting every bit of news I could, because I knew it was going to be war, and my nephew had joined the Navy a year earlier.

I was so afraid so many more people would have been killed, because if everyone had already been at work when those planes hit, 10s of thousands more people would have died.

I lost one of my former students. It could have been worse, because I taught graduate level finance for a short while, and quite a few of my former students worked in the towers.
