No there isn't much to worry about. Loss of appetite is sometimes a sympton of pregnancy, usually because you can't keep anything down anyway. Simply make sure the things you are eating are healthy and take your pre-natal vitamins. If you start to experience weight loss your doctor may express some concerns. Just remember that you are caring for two now, take it easy and eat sensibly.
Congrats on the baby!!!

Probably not. Being pregnant, especially in the early and very late months, can tend to curb the appetite for a time. I know when I was 2 month pregnant I didn't have an appetite at all because of nausea and some days I just plain didn't feel like eating. It got better though, your appetite should pick up soon. There isn't a thing wrong with the baby. The baby gets the nutrients it needs no matter what. If the loss of appetite persists or gets worse, see your doctor.

Your appetite will not always be affected by pregnancy. Each woman and each pregnancy is different. My daughter is pregnant with our first grandchild - her due date is April 15 so she is about as far along as you. She has no appetite at all, is nauseous, and is very tired. Sometimes people will say you are eating for 2 when you are pregnant, but you should not be eating a lot or you will gain a lot of weight, which is hard to loose after the baby is born. Just because you don't have much of any appetite is not a sign of anything wrong with you or the baby.

Don't worry. Each woman experiences different changes of appetite. On Average, women gain about 25 to 30 lbs through the pregnancy, but some can be as little as 10 lbs (or even in the single digit!!). Most of the weight gain comes at the last 3 months of pregnancy. As long as you keep going to your regular check up, eat healthy food, you will be fine. By the way, congratulation!!!!

In the first trimester, your appetite is usually a little low. Nausea is the primary problem. Also, the baby is growing, but usually, the amount of calories you need to support growth in the first trimester is enough from what you normally consume. The second and third trimester is the most important to monitor what you eat and how much you take in. Also, luckily, nausea is not a primary problem. Nevertheless, you need to visit the doctor regularly and make sure that you are getting enough vitamins and nutrition for yourself as well as the baby. Try to eat healthy when you do eat and make sure you take your supplements. Everything you are experiencing is normal.

Just because you're pregnant does not mean you are going to want to eat everything in site. That is a myth and often times an excuse because women want to eat. I had a friend who was under six weeks pregnant and would eat like crazy. She'd say "I'm eating for two and I'm so hungry". Well she had a tendancy to over eat anyway and she used the pregnancy as an excuse to pig out.
I'm on my third pregnancy. I'm 15 weeks and I'm just now starting to have an appetite. I lost weight the first trimester because I didn't want to be anywhere near food.
You're fine.

No there's nothing wrong with you or the baby. I was the same way. My appetite stayed the same for the first few months. Didn't gain much weight and that's partly because either I wasn't hungry at all, or anything I did eat, was coming back up anyway.
Once the second trimester hits, you will notice a change.
Chin up! And congrats!! :-)

NO....the baby is still super small! Your appetite might not get bigger til the baby starts growing more. When I was pregnant my first time I was small and I didn't have a huge appetite either. Don't worry, but if you're really concerned then talk to your doctor. Congrats! And Good Luck!

No there is nothing wrong. I actually lost weight my first trimester. The doc wasn't really concerned...I stopped losing weight of coarse, and now, I just feel like a fat pig! Just make sure that you are still eating throughout the day, and your appetite will catch up.
You only need an extra 300 calories a day for the baby. That's what...an apple and a glass of milk?
