Unless the program is a single file standalone program or the other computer has the installation file, this can not be done.

like interested dude said you have to have the actual instalation files like is on the original software disk or have a standalone or redistributable program. If you have the right files you can sometimes share them on a network and install from the shared network folder. Windows can do that but you still have to have another license to activate once it's installed

The way you do it on any computer but if you mean from another computer to you're computer then I am not sure about yahoo messenger but i know MSN messenger you can do a remote access that will allow people on each end to take control of someones computer only if they agree to it if you have problems installing.

You could transfer the executable (installation) file to your computer by copying it to CD or a USB flash drive, or by transferring the installation file through a network or e-mail ( if it is not too large for your e-mail servers to handle).

Have you thought of publishing the software or assigning it through a group policy object?
