I had spent the night at my mothers in Atlanta. Im from Pittsburgh, and she woke me up saying that an airplane had crashed into a trade tower. I got up to go watch the news and before I knew it the second plane hit. And as I sat there shocked and terrified. They made a announcement that another plane had crashed in Pittsburgh, thank God the reports were wrong and it hadn't hit the city. It was terrifing trying to get through to Pittsburgh, wondering what was happening to my family.

i remember like it was yesterday....
i was in the sixth grade and we were in english class. We were going over homework when one of the fellow classmates came in and was like, "dude did u guys see the airplanes fly into the buildings in new york?"
and the teacher was like what buildings
and the student was like, "the world trade centers."
and the teacher got all frantic cuz he had family members in new york and he hurried up and turned the news on
my first reaction...to be honest....was, what the hell are the world trade centers but what can i say i was 11 and knew nothing

I was sleeping over at my Sister's house. My Brother in law shook me awake and told me that terrorists had rammed airliners into the World Trade Centers and knocked them down.
I said, "Dude, stop screwing around. I'm still sleeping."
He had to do a bit more convincing. He turned up the radio. Then I was pissed.

I was at work. When one of my co-workers said that a dumb @SS pilot just flew into the twin towers. Everybody started to laugh thinking that it was a joke. I stop my work and said he shouldn't of been flying in down town NY. Its a NO fly zone. Then the room became silence . We all got up to the conference room and watch the second plane crash into the tower and then the Pentagon.
I was filled with anger, and fill with sadness knowing that all these moms, dads, sis, brothers, grandparents. Lost their life. All they did was went to work.
