You know, you remind me of two bobble-headed teenagers who were watching the towers fall to the ground and made the comment, "what's the big deal. I don't get it? They are just people and buildings. Who cares?" Welp, you know I do!!

Not really, I agree with you on that, but people have a need to share their feelings when there is such an incredible tragedy right as it happens live in front of you on tv. People have compassion for those who were there, some had relatives and friends, and this was so horrible, the need to communicate with other human beings in a traumatic experience is the way to deal with it. The same thing happened when the late President John F. Kennedy was shot and even to this day, people would ask where you were that day. If people do not really care where you were on the day of a tragedy, it means something to them and that is where the caring ought to be.

I definitely do because I feel like it was the worst disaster for the United States ever. It was a very tragic thing for those there as well as their families and this country. It really makes you realize how vulnerable we are to other countries and their people. Something like that could happen anytime again. I think we can identify with those people involved and I surely think there is a huge factor of interest because it is such a tragedy.''I remember when I was a little girl when JFK died and I think 9-11 is like that in that no matter what else happens from here on out, both d ays will be firmly etched in my memory as a great loss to us all. God Bless.

Yes! I remember my experience like it happen yesterday. I know I was not in New York City at that time. I was far away from there. I was in Houston, Texas. I was about 1 minute away from home when I heard the news on the radio in my car. I was alone and frighten. I ran into my house because my sister was taking care of my little cousin. She didn't know anything about it. I ran to the tv where I was able to hear about the whole story. It was just a weird day and also a day of grieve. That is why I salute to all the people that were able to be there to help out others that were in need. I think it is very good to know where people that you may know are at all the time so that you have an idea where to find them at when tragedies like these occur.

Whether someone really cares where you were on 9-11-2001 (not 9-10-2001 as you noted in you paragraph) is not the point of the question. This is a way for people to express themselves and the emotions that they feel. While it is true that most of us were at home or on our way to work, school or even getting ready for a walk that still does not negate how people feel. You seem to express yourself in anger which is not a good sign.
Just to let you know, those within my family knew 9 people who died in those attacks. Including myself who knew three people at the Pentagon who died.

Yes I think people do care. This affected everyone across the United States and to see and imagine where people were whether it was school, work, or home and how old these people were is amazing. Exact details are remembered in their stories. I remember everything (except the clothes I was wearing), but it's strange how I can't remember certain moments with my girlfriend.

I care. It impacted my life a great deal. Life in this country will never be the same. It is the thing no one thought could happen. It is like asking people where they were when Kennedy was shot even now they still remember.

Yes. For myself, I was with people that I worked with that I no longer see because I have retired and moved away. 911 at least makes me remember these people and get in touch. For awhile, 4 of us thought that the US could possibly be at war and our thoughtless government gave us no truth, just went ahead and attacked and that 911 was retalitiation for something the US had done. For at least three hours we entertained the notion that where we were and who we were with might just be the people that we died with. So yes..i care and so do my friends.

Do you think I care that you have no f***ing clue as to what patriotism is or the fact that you can't even write a complete sentence? Go back to school. The freedom that so many have died for allows you that chance. Keep that in mind the next time you want to put some lame-***, stupid question such as this.

Some people have asked others where they were on 9/11, so I'd say yes.
