Let me see. To answer this highly existentialistic question, we must first delve into the deep depths of the abstract quality that the human brain exudes in copius amounts. At first there lies a literal meaning: Is it the end of the world? You stated this question, and one can assume that you would like the answer to this delicate subject. But on a whole new level, to answer this, you must first answer many other questions. Ask yourself, "What is the world? What is the end?" Once these questions are answered, only then can you truly understand the simple complexity of this question. For example, if you answer the question "what is the world?" to be a metaphysical world, the world that we all live and interact in, then one can also assume that the world has not ended. Further continuing on this question, if one answers the question, "what is the end?" to be a physical end, a finite stop to existence, then we can also assume that the word has not ended, for it can also be assumed that it is humankind that is answering this very question.

Your question is too broad. Do you mean "have we as a society become so corrupt and so uncaring that we are slowly destroying ourselves?" The rich mistreat the poor. We pollute the air we breathe and the water we drink. We eat unhealthy food and smoke even though we know it is harmful. We look down at our neighbor if he looks different from us and if he doesn't pray to the same God. So I guess the answer is yes.

The end of the world is a personnal experience. When YOU die, YOUR world ends.
So, if someone strongly believes that its the end of the world and they do something... foolish, then yes, its the end of the world for THEM, but not for you.
By the way, don't do anything foolish, it's never worth it... ;)

What is your definition of the end? Is it death or the whole world totally wiped out? I guess it depends on which one you choose. If its death, then of course there will be an age limit and this varies from person to person.
If it is the whole world totally wiped out, this I don't know it myself. I guess it all depends on God alone.
