she was one of the first female piolts famous for her disappearance when she planned to travel the whole world. Till this day whatever happened to her still remains a mystery

Amelia Earhart was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans solo.
AE's plane went down somewhere in the South Pacific and the whereabouts of her body are still unknown. Some believe that they have just found her bones on some small island.
