What is the difference between the word conscious and conscience?

Conscious means you are awake and (presumably) paying attention.

Conscience is the part of you that tells right from wrong.

conscience means like having something on one's conscience, to feel guilty about something, as an act that one considers wrong: She behaves as if she had something on her conscience.

While conscious means the conscious, Psychoanalysis. the part of the mind comprising psychic material of which the individual is aware

Conscious is:
intentionally conceived ---> example "a conscious effort to speak more slowly"; "a conscious policy"

conscious is what you think of something, like yourself, or if you are alive
conscience is the little voice in your head that tells you right from wrong. hope this helps

conscious means to be aware of -external things...surroundings, etc.

conscience means your inner feeling, what supposedly guide you between right and wrong

one is spelled wrong and the other is spelled right.
