I have black hair, fair skin with cool undertones, dark brown to golden brown to honey eyes, full lips. I am gothic. Do you have any recomendations on colors, brands, applications, lipstick vs lipgloss, lipliner or no lipliner, etcetera?

Gothic yes to most people automatically means black black black. But the more and more gothic people i observe (and having been gothic at one point too) i find that crimson colors look very appealing and sexy with an entire black ensemble. Brand wise, i'm not to sure i prefer a specific brand. I sell Mary Kay so for the past year I've been only using those products. But if you want to test colors out then i would go with Wet and Wild just to find a shade or tone you like. Reds, crimsons or even a dark brown (fudge colored) or anything along that lkine . maybe a dark bronze. I would deffinitely stick with a cream lipstick over a gloss (it's not typical of "goths"). Also a liner would look hot. In a shade slightly lighter than the shade you chose for lipstick. If you have tiny lips and want to enhance the size of your lips than choose a liner that matches your lip tone and draw around your lip line filing in with a darker color. But remember. If you use dark colors on your lips you must use a darker color eye or a smokey eye to compliment it. you don't want nothing on your eyes then these amazing lips.. it would look odd

If ur gothic then I guess black, dark purple, dark red, or brown. Go to www.manicpanic.com they have great goth makeup. Use a lipliner that matches your lipcolor, not the lipstick. Line and fill your lips in completely. Then put the lipstick over it. That will help it stay longer. If u want it shiney then u can put clear gloss over it but you'll have to keep reapplying it and it will eventually make it look sloppy and smeared.

I would recommend a purple/plum lipstick. Lipliner in about the same shade will make it last without bleeding or fading. My favorite shade for myself is a greyish purple but they don't make it anymore. Try going to the cosmetics counter at a department store and trying out different shades (on your hand) then going to Target or Walgreens and find the same shade for 1/4 the price.

What about a deep burgundy, or anything with a purple base to it, you'll appear even fairer with something with a purple undertone to it. I like the "toxic" brand of lipsticks and nail colors, at hot topic, or wet and wild, they have some really deep, dark colors, like blue and eggplant in both the lip and the nail polish colors.
good luck

i think that black would be the obvious choice but i think that maybe a little bit of red would look nice but not to over powering make sure you use some shiny lipgloss to make your lips really stand out. i wouldnt use lipliner i find it looks to fake like your trying to hard! i love benefit and urban decay are really cool but even maybaline and rimmel are good to.

Well, I suggest not doing too much eye makeup if you want your lips to be bold. Wear red lips (looks good on anyone) with soft eyes. Or intensify your eyes (lots of liner and stuff) with nude lips. :)
