ok, my friend alex had created an e-mail address that was like just a spare, and i wanted to find out if the video i sent to my friend kevin who i sent it to before(and it didn't work), would go through, so i logged in and found that alex had just broken upwith his girl friend. should i tell him? and if so, how?

Umm I am not getting this?? Is it just the way it is worded or is it just me....lol
Are you saying that you logged into Alex's 'spare' email and he had received an email from his girlfriend breaking up with him???
If so then the only question I have for you is WHY ARE YOU READING HIS EMAIL???
If that is not right but you somehow tripped into finding this out I would say what ever you can do to put things back the way they were before you went in there is the best bet. If however, Alex does not use this email then I would mention that you went in there recently and why and that will make him curious enough to see what you were doing and he will discover it himself.
If I am WAY off about this then you need to re word the question.

So... you were in your friend's account? I mean it's a little confusing. You found out your friend broke up with his girlfriend... does he know about it? I mean if they broke up, it means he knows right? If what I'm thinking is correct... don't bring up the subjects until he brings it up. Don't push the subject and be nosy, if he doesn't want to talk about it... let him be until he's ready. Let him know you're there for him when he's ready to talk. Be supportive, but not angry toward the girl... possitive thinking is best for hard time. Keep him busy until he gets better or take a trip together. What is this Kevin guy has to do with the question? Anyways, I hope this helps

Delete the message you sent to that email account and DO NOT tell him you know. Let him tell you on his own terms.
