I was sleeping and the telephone rang, and we were told to turn on the news, It is so sad that this happened, but we need to get passed all our political jargo, this could have been prevented, if people were not so worried about thier own back.
They had Bin Laden, but they didn't have the clearance to take him, we have to stop this, it is satan working in these people convincing them they are doing Gods work, the only way we can intervene is through Jesus Christ.

I was a sophmore in college and I was walking to residence life to get a new id card. I walked in the building and there was a little black and white tv on talking about a building was struck down in NY. I am from NY so when I heard this I was a little taken back. The news did not have very much information they just kept saying that one of the towers were down. I tried to call my mom, but the phone was busy. As I walked up the hill, I saw more and more students coming out of the building and that was weird because it was in between classes. When I went in the shuttle the radio said that the pentagon was just hit. At this point I was really frightened because I was in DC and the pentagon was not that far. I again tried my mom, but to no avail. I didnt get ahold of her till later that evening. That was one of the most saddest and scariest days of my life.

I'll never forget. My husband overslept and was running late, so I went out to the garage to start his car so he could zip right out the door when he was ready. The radio was on, and the announcer was talking about the first tower being hit. I ran in and turned on the the TV.

I was sleeping and a friend of mine called. My mom was watching the news all shocked, while my friend was telling me about an airplane and a building but I couldnt really understand what was going on....He doesnt explain things well, I thought there was a military jet hitting a building by accident or so in my country (Greece). After we hang up the telephone, I looked at the TV and started crying....

I was in 7th grade science class, and their were rumors about it but no one took them seriously. The period after (drama class) people started going home because our school was "in danger". In the last period of the day, the guidance counselors sent around an official memo, which the teachers read off to all the students. We also got to turn on the TV and watch Live what was happening.

I was in a computer class. Someone came up from the student lounge when we were all getting ready to leave and said what happened and at first we all laughed thinking it was a joke but after realizing it wasn't we all went down to the student lounge and saw what was happening on the news.

I was at home, doing homework because I was sick and stayed home that day. My dad came in from the store and told us to turn on the tv. I was watching when the 2nd tower fell. We cried because we knew the people in there were dying.

I was sitting in my sociology class in college. The professor got up from his computer and turned on the televison for us to see what was happening. I dont think anyone will ever forget where they were that day like a lot of people remember where they were and what they were doing when JFK was shot
