He was terrible as a head of state, but ok as a president?

Bush is an excellent President. He doesn't consult the polls first before making a decision as his predecessor did (but only if he had before Monicagate, eh?) and does what he thinks is right. We need decision makers - not egotists that want everybody to love them (literally!) at any cost.

He is as good as the people behind him.People act as if President Bush runs the country on his own and blames him for everything.Not much gets done without going through congress and his cabinet helps him make decisions.

Myself personally, I do not believe that President Bush is a good leader of this country at all.

He's better than some we've had like Lyndon B. Johnson or Richard Nixon...but he definitely has room for improvement!

As bad as he seems to some, he is not the worst in the world by far.
As presdients go, I'd give him about the same grade he got in college.
barely enough to pass.
