nooooo......no if you get them from a reliable source....always run a scan tho just to be sure.....a virus scan will notify you even if its a corrupt file......just have to be careful

ALWAYS scan them for viruses BEFORE you open them.

there are many sites that prescan them before they release them to the public. one of them is

if u r doubt of those

install in other drives rather than ur c or d drive
