I don't agree. However:

Desire in someone other than your mate, which causes you to be unfaithful, can lead to your mate finding out. That destroys trust.

I have opposing views.

I think desire, if channeled correctly, can actually create trust. My desires about my future are lofty, and as I have communicated them to my fiance, he knows what to expect later on. The main point is communication.

However, if one acts on desires without consulting those who it direcly affects (family, relationships), it will destroy trust.
