My husband and I have been actively trying to conceive since his vasectomy reversal four months ago. Now, I truly believe I am pregnant but two home pregnancy tests returned a negative results.
My period is (about) 17 days late. My breasts are (very, VERY!) swollen and tender. My face broke out for the first time in years. I am an ardent night owl who for the past month cannot survive the nine o'clock hour with my eyes open and am now averaging eleven hours sleep a night. I haven't gained any weight but my flat stomach now looks like it belongs to somebody who ate a small melon and forgot to chew. (Nobody shows after a month though?! right?) And, I don't know what this is about but I think (and my husband agrees) my pelvic (gential) region is itself very swollen.
I took a pregnancy test a week ago and yesterday. Both negative. Our OB/GYN told me to wait a week and take it again. I just don't understand why the test isn't positive NOW! Should I ask to take a blood test?

u could be pregnant. if i were you i would get a blood test. those are more accurate then the home pregnancy tests

Do what the Ob/gyn suggested. There have been many a times I've thought I was FOR SURE pregnant and then ending up getting my period late. Our bodies can play tricks on us sometimes. Especially when we really want to be pregnant. I'm not saying you're not pregnant, but waiting another week is better than fussing with a blood test.

Yup, I had the test say the same thing 2wice. So I went to the hospital and ask them to do a blood test. they said they do the pee test first and if nothing then they would do that as a last resort. Yup, I am now 4 weeks. go with your gut and be demanding it's your body and you have the right to know for sure if you are or not! You have allot of the symptoms so just tell them the whole scenario. good luck!

I can suggest astro/madico remedies. You avoid 5 days before and after period .You have intercourse in the middle of the period. You advice your hubby to avoid ejagulation in other ways.

yes ask for a blood test, those home test are not a real think, your ob/gyn should have done one. expecly since your haveing all the symptoms of beening pregent. i would request one .

I believe you should see your regular Doctor. You may have an internal problem and a second opinion is the best way to proceed.

Some people have what is called a "hysterical pregnant" - where its all in their mind. Their mind wraps around the fact that they believe their pregnant... and then the body follows suits.
Kind of amazing right, what your mind can concieve and your body believe.

buy a new testing device that is new, maybe the one u r using is broken
