it has somethin in the lotion that helps heals scars and moistures your skin really good so you dont have to repeat it like 10 times in one day. pregnant woman use it for stretch marks so i guess it absorbs stretch marks so there less noticable...does that help???

As already stated it provides a good source of vitamin e which is also provided by natural sunlight. Those of us with pigmented skin living away from our natural environment will benefit from using Palmer's cocoa butter.

It REALLY moisturizes even the driest skin (I have super dry skin that flakes severely in a day of not moisturizing). Supposedly prevents stretch marks and restores elasticity to skin (not so sure about that because I've never used it for that purpose so I haven't noticed). Smells GREAT, just yummy, like chocolate ice-cream!!!

I am assuming it works well another good cocoa butter brand to try is Queen Helene...Their entire line is awesome. I use there cocoa butter and I loveeeeeeeee it....

I love this stuff! I'm 7 months pregnant and use it for helping reduce stretch marks. It feels and smells great and contains collagen. Wouldn't change for the world!!

Sometimes the smell is a bit overbearing, but the product keeps the skin supple and smooth..It also helps clear up small blemishes...good stuff..

i've tried other cocoa butter but it's just not the same. it can be used for so many things as well, i've found it really soothes sun burn

I used it religiously when I was pregnant and have no stretch marks. That's what make sit special in my book.

I think because, cocoa is a natural ingredient, anything that's natural is good, don't you think.
