Women are so different, it is impossible to sum them all up into one word/phrase. It would be like trying to sum up all the members of a family into one word/phrase. It can't be done, and even if someone thought they had come up with one word/phrase, it would be wrong, because no two people are alike.

You could define a family as bookworms, but maybe the daughter loves movies more, so it would be wrong.
You could define a family as "they only care for others", but maybe the father never gives to charity.

Women are fluid. There is not a word or phrase that can define a woman except that she is indefinate. Women take on the shape and strength that is necessary. Women mold themselves and those around them to be what is necessary. Women are constantly taking in energy from the outside and generously donating energy from within to create a constant flow of thoughts, actions, passion, emotions, and strength. Women I suppose are in a word indefinate. A woman is never what she seems...sometimes in a negative way and sometimes in an entirely mysterious way that has inspired art in all forms. The mystery is beautiful because it has considered all, pondered all, remembered all, and understood all. Taking everything in and then acting in response to that which was gathered expelling nothing but energy to contribute to the cycle from which she partook.

I know this is not what you asked for but I thought i would share it..it is the lyrics to Blood in the Boardroom by Ani Difranco. It has some great lines and totally reinforces why i love being a woman.
