Durga is actually my favorite...though she didn't make your list. Her name means invincible. She is the strong warrior mother who protects her young.

Of your list I would have to say Isis...she searched the world over for the pieces of her lover to put him back togeather. How many people would do that today?

When I first started learning about Wicca I knew I had to find a God and Goddess to include in my worship. Researching many, many pantheons I found the Egyptian pantheon really stirred something in me. Soon after Isis revealed herself to me along with Ra and Thoth. Those have been my patrons for years. Although I do not practice Wicca anymore Egypt will always hold a special place in my heart.

Oh yeah my answer is E) Aset

First of all, it ain't just the ancients who worship these five goddesses.

(My personal most idealized sense of the Universal Goddess is not on this list--but I'm partial, on this list, to Ishtar, as a later embodiment of the underlying Inanna principle, and to Isis)

i became prepared on Artemis even formerly starting to be a pagan. Her association with the wild, animals, independence, and archery continually appealed to me. the closest ingredient to a shopper deity I unquestionably have is Brigit (Brigid). i'm a poet with some Gaelic ancestry and she or he's a Gaelic goddess of poetry. something approximately her merely resonates with me. I additionally like her accessible connections to the beginning of the banshee. Razna - I very own that tale, and agree that's surprising!
