Where do you think must law forces find people downloading illegal music. In big cities or little towns? Which one is the most caught. Our little tiny towns ever caught or just the big cities. Be Serious. Thanks

i would think more in larger cities.

The only way that the law enforcement can track you is by your ip address (the string of 4 seperate numbers separated by "." for example 65.237.100.8)

The agency has to determine what service provider owns that address (usually identified by the first, and second set of numbers), after this, they will contact your service provider to see who was using that ip address at the time. I wouldn't think that the smaller companies would have the $$ for the technology to save this information for any length of time.

Also, you are in more of a danger if you use dsl, cable or anything that is "always on" because that ip address is your, and only yours. dial up is a safer way, because you will have a different ip every time you sign on, but way too slow.

in my opinion, large city is easier to get caught than small town.
