I'm pale, an i look terrible in red lipstick. i usually wear a pink or a gloss. red lipstick on pale skin makes u look even paler, so avoid it.

red lipstick looks actually better against a pale complexion. Just make sure you get the right shade of red for you. You will get that hollowood glam look. Gwen stefani and Christina Agulara do this look justice because they are both not really tanned and a lttle pale, so look to them as examples.

If it's the first time you're buying red lipstick, I suggest you go to any cosmetics counter and get a consultation. Once you have an idea of the shade of red that is suitable for your skin tone, you don't necessarily need to get an expensive brand.
Just remember to keep your eye make-up minimal/natural or you might end up looking like a hooker.

there are never any limitations on what you can wear depending on your coloring or hair color. for example, gwen stefani is really pale, and she still looks good w/ red lipstick. you can wear anything u like and still look gorgeous, but just make sure that you get the right type of red color lipstick

Not always. Some shades of red can be very dramatic and sexy on pale skin. You wouldn't want to wear it all the time, but for special occasions it might be nice.

yes avoid red lipstick try a gentle pink something that will match ur skin tone.someting to light will make it worse something too dark wil never bring out a true color of you.

yes, but you have to have just the right color. you've seen stars that have perfect red lips. one you have to get used to wearing a shade that bold. i suggest you go to walgreens ... they have this policy that allows you to bring back make-up that doesn't look right when you get it home. also i think it is revlon that showcasing movie stars and the make-up they wear and they have a scarlet johanson display where she is wearing a bold red lipstick you can start there.

i would suggest avoiding it, try a pink, or clear gloss, the red would stand out and make you look even more pale.

i think that there are small amount of people that can pull off the red lipstick look and it depends on ur personality and ur features along with ur skin color
