Yeah, I totally agree. Some people need to get lives instead spending their entire time on Myspace, Facebook, or Photo Bucket.

I tend to agree with you that it is. One of my nieces has her own myspace, so I went to check it out. I also checked out her husband's myspace. I was a little shocked to be honest with you. I saw some pretty weird stuff there (some dark humor, and some stuff that to me, was borderline satanic in nature). This was on her husband's myspace. He is supposed to be this up and coming director/producer - of what I'm not sure, films, maybe? He was also supposedly to have won some type of award at the Sundance Film Festival - again, not sure what type of award. Anyhow, my niece's myspace was a little unsettling as well. There I saw a video of her on her wedding day, getting ready for her wedding. At first, I thought, cool - this will be fun to watch. But as I began watching it and listened to the audio of her speaking, I was a bit unnerved. She was talkiing about how, with the wedding only minutes away from starting, she was becoming really stressed out. Nothing unusual about that. However, she goes on talking, and every other word is f@#k this and f@#k that, "where are my f@#king bridesmaids; where is the f@#king groom; I want to kill my mother-in-law, f@#k the brides maids and flower girl, we don't need them anyway". I was a little taken aback by what was coming out of her mouth. Everyone in the family portrays her as this sweet girl who would NEVER say or do anything to hurt anyone. Hmmm, maybe the rest of the family needs to see this video as well. Sorry, didn't mean to vent here, but yeah, I agree, I think maybe "myspace" is a bit out of control, or maybe it's just the people that put posts on there. Oh well, at least we have the choice of not viewing it if we don't want to!

I think it's ok. It's just like everything else. It depends on the person using it. I like to blog there and I like to read my friends blog. Maybe because I am older it's not such a big pervert thing. I am not sure I would want my teenager to use it but I am pretty sure they would! It can be pretty creative too. And I have found some of the serious groups helpful but the hateful ones such as "We Hate Fat People" and all the other hate groups really are bad. But I believe in First Amendment Rights so what can you do?

I think it is. Most of the people on there totally over due it. There are some people that are ok. I have a myspace, but I don't get obsessed with it.

MySpace is nothing more than a place for perverts to meet, among other things.
I feel it is nothing more than 50 year old men posing as teenage guys, trying to pick up young people.

not me its so cool! but you have to know your limits. i'm smart...I:
~disabled my chat
~dont give my myspace name to anyone but friends
~if someone trys to add me and i dont know them...i block them
~set my security settings high
~put fake location
~put fake name
~put fake age
~dissabled picture fowarding
so myspace is cool but you realy have to be very very very careful!
those are just some of the things i do to be careful..

My friend is obsessed with it, she has to check it at least every 5 seconds to see if she got new comments or friend requests. Yes, it is getting out of control. Brainwashing..

It is out of control. It's being banned in schools and homes. I would call it "infamous."
