My period was due around sunday and came on friday. My period is normally a very heavy flow, but this time it is very weak, yesterday it came to a stop. My period normally lasts for up to 9-10 days and this time it only lasted 3 days. It has come back a little this morning though. It's not 'spots' as such just a very weak flow, does that mean it's spotting? I am hoping to be pregnant to. I also have felt a little nausea at night time, and I've had a temparture since thursday, I get hot really quickly, near a fire place etc, which doesn't make sense cause it's Winter in Australia. Do you think what I'm experiencing is spotting? Has any women experienced the same thing? I know I should see the doc but I would like some opinions first, just incase I'm worried over nothing. I really really want to be pregnant!!!

ok, so you have had a mild period you are safe to take a pregnancy test. Some women have periods for the whole pregnancy and have normal healthy babies. But take the test and if the spotting continues, you have to wait a while to find out if it may be ectopic or a lost pregnancy. I'm sorry to have to tell you that but you need to look at this realistically. You really want to be pregnant, bleeding during pregnancy is not considered a good sign of a healthy pregnancy. Please be prepared for anything. I'm sending you happy thoughts that if this is indeed a pregnancy that you will have a very healthy pregnancy and baby.

I have had a period last 9-10 days it's called stress, and a lot of women can have off the wall periods, I would wait a couple more days and see what happens and go take a test, but take it in the morning that is the best time to take a test...Good Luck

First off i have never heard of a period lasting 9 or 10 days.
That is strange to me right there....If your period is not like it normally is then you need to see a doctor for you might be pregnant.
