I think I stopped when I was three as do most children, unless they are trying to get attention from their parent's then it could go on until maybe 5. But if it goes on that long you have a real problem in your house or with your child.

My son was 3 and my daughter 4 when they stopped.
I'm 35 and sometimes when I'm REALLY sick.... it feels like I have to fart but it's a little hot and then I realize it's liquid.
