Yes!
This fear was planted in 1983. Since that, we are in fear against the "Terrorist" which is no one else, than our Government! With this threat King George Bush II build a great tyranny, removed democracy, the puppet nation in fear removed democracy, elected Republican President, republican House, and republican Senate! This is not Democracy, this is Tyranny. We become prisoners of our own country!
9/11/2001 was a clear picture conspiracy!
See the video "Loose Change2"
You must be a complete retard not to understand the raw facts! Who ever not get the picture, deserve all tyranny, and even slavery!

I do not believe the country is driven by fear.

Some of our security and foreign policy has been driven by the need to defend against further attacks, [if you like, fear of such attacks] but the people themselves show no signs of being driven by fear. As far as I can observe people continue their careers, family and personal lives in the normal way.

Few if any get up each morning wondering if they will be bombed and even fewer take some kind of evasive action.to avoid it. They worry about the weather or some problem at work or school, but not a terrorist attack.

Apart from airport security and much of what we hear from talking heads on TV, the idea of fearing terrorist atttacks is not taking much of our thinking time. We see terror acttacks as a problem essentially for the federal govt. A majority of voters in 2004 assigned Bush this task. Current poles suggest this view may have changed or ratings have declined for a myriad of other reasons. In any eventr it is a moot point politically since we will not have a chance to express views of Bush at the next election.
It would seem to me that running hard against Bush may be wasting some energy. Save it for the real candidates.

For the vast majority of people the problem is not one they can affect. It is pointless and counterproductive to waste time and energy worrying about it. If we want something to fear, it would be street crime, obesity or aids. All of these have a much greater negative impact on individual lives than terrorists. They are encountereddaily by individuals and are subject to local action which we can affect.

Common sense prevails. America is not a country driven by fear.

I think we are a nation driven by success.

The need to beat the terrorists are what drives us to keep going & to eventually win.

approval ratings mean SQUAT... they are a selective poll...when were YOU polled on how you feel about the president?? I know I never have been!

I don't think anyone else would have handled the events of 9/11 as well as George Bush... not many can argue that.

I don't think we're living in fear...The events of 9 11 changed us,and made changes that affect all of us.We are more alert to what is happening in our world and our country. If there is one thing about America tha sets us apart from other countries it is the fact that when we as a country are in a situation involving ALL of us then WE as a country address the matter by pulling together and helping one another...There may be differences, but WE still help each other....9 11 proved it as did Hurricane Katrina
WE ARE AMERICA YOU FIGHT ONE OF US YOU FIGHT US ALL God Bless America

American't be driven by fear!
Bush's entire campaign has only been run by putting fear in the American people. The fear is the only leg he has to stand on! The whole world is in a wacky state of affairs with these "wars on terror" everyone needs to calm down and relax! As anxious as I am to finally see Bush's time in office come to an end, I am extremely concerned as to how our next (official) president will handle the mess that's been left behind and to bring peace back to the American people.

Sept. 11th has nothing to do with how I feel about Bush. I don't believe there was anything any President could have done to prevent this tragedy.

I don't like or respect Bush for a million other things he did/didn't do since he and his administration has occupied the White House.

Yes. Name me one country that is NOT driven by fear.
What fear propaganda, that generated by the Republicans, the Democrats, the media, or our not-so-well-meaning-teachers?

If we caught Bin Laden tomorrow, would the terrorists say - "OK, we give up, you got us!" Use your head, stop listening to talking heads, support those who defend your right to live free and pray for those who are not free yet. Vote for someone you believe will do what is right, love those you would otherwise hate and pray for those who hate you or the ideals you posess.
The rest is, as I prefer to say, crapolla.
