If they're healthy they play. The good players don't usually play many minutes except in a couple of games though. Last fall, I went to a HOU vs SAN preseason game and T-Mac and Duncan weren't on the floor very long. Yao was injured and didn't play at all.

Nope, not all the players play in the pre-season.The superstars would usually not play, only those new guys and free agents who are hoping to get a playing contract and they use the preseason as an opportunity to prove their worth. Some players with existing contracts also play to get in shape, and if required by the coach. The regular coaches would usually not be be coaching also, they would usually delegate the preseason coaching to their assistant coaches.

The players that are the back bone of the team play few minutes. The coach is more interested in seeing what the new people can do. A coach may also look at his rotation. It is up to the coach for he needs to see how the players do, then go from there.

nicely that's the preseason for a reason. those video games do not count selection. that's a warmup, that's of challenge for newbies to get a sense of the sport formerly the real video games start up, and gamers do not pick to exert themselves too plenty for the period of a warmup. They continually play harder for the time of the playoffs appropriate? so which you recognize that they are actually not giving it their all, via fact there is not any element. greater valuable to save your capability for the customary season, and cut back the possibility of injury, than to make your element in a game that doesn't even count selection.
