I really want to apply to a college in CT, but don't want my parents to pay too much for me to go there. (I'm out-of-state). So I do want to go there, but I also don't want to go a poor school with bad education for the "real world" or whatever. Thanks if anyone know anything on this.

U Conn is a relatively affordable state school. It is quite respectable, and highly ranked for a state university. Take a look!

Fairfield U and Quinnipiac U are also decent schools, but are a bit more expensive than U Conn.

Please don't forget that more expensive colleges often have large endowments, and offer more financial aid than state institutions, however. So if you've got the SATs and the grades, don't overlook Connecticut College, Wesleyan, and Trinity. They are absolutely fantastic schools.
