test my laptop's computer fan?

hi, i think my laptop might need a new fan. is there any program i can run to test my fan or do u know any websites that really get ur fan running in ur pc or laptop.

toshiba has diagnostics, as does HP and compaq for fan tests, Apple has widgets and their hardware test. You probably don't need a new fan, you probably need to clean out the heat sinks if you're experiencing heat issues with your laptop.
