It will only affect your passwords associated with Yahoo which include:
* Yahoo Answers
* Yahoo mail
* Geocities
* Yahoo 360
* Yahoo Pictures
* Yahoo Video
* Yahoo Personals
Anything outside of this is unaffected.

it will just affect the passwords to all your yahoo accounts.. like to answers and other places which require your yahoo id.

the respond isn't effective. I actual have an identical frustration and am waiting to go away yahoo. I went in to my possibilities and tried to have all yahoo digital mail forwarded bu the alternative grew to alter into into greyed out. thank you for now no longer some thing yahoo!!!

If you mean your password for connecting via phoneline then no, will only affect your logins to yahoo services such as mail answers etc

It would affect anything that uses Yahoo! as a login.
Ie Mail, Answers, Groups etc...
