InterVideo WinDVD?

I have InterVideo WinDVD on my laptop computer, but i have PowerDVD on my desktop. I hate PowerDVD. Is there any way i can install InterVideo on my desktop from my laptop?

you would need the cd installer, but i dont know if it would work on a different dvd player
