Me and my husband have 4 kids. After our last child I got my tubes tied. Ever since, life has been very different. I don't even wanna have sex anymore. I can't orgasm like I used to and I am very depressed and cry a lot. I am hoping that there is a doctor out there or someone that is going through the same thing can help me. My marrige is at stake. Is it possible that the doctor screwed something up inside me to make me feel this way?? Please help. Any sugestions will help. I just want to be able to enjoy sex again with my husband. Thank you & GOD Bless

Sounds like your problem is more emotional than physical. Maybe you feel like less than a woman since you can no longer have children, and that's probably why you're less interested in sex. Having your tubes tied has nothing to do with the hormones, which generally influence sexual desire. If you had had a complete hysterectomy with removal of the ovaries, you would experience menopausal symptoms and a reduction in the sex drive, at least temporarily. But having the tubes tied should not affect your sex life. I will repeat, I think it's emotional. Maybe counseling will help. Try to remember what it was like to be romantic, make a "date" with your husband. Farm out the kids and have a candlelit dinner -- mutual massages -- shower together....lots of things to bring back that old spark.... Good luck!

You are not alone, i had my tubes tied after my 2nd child and i too no longer have much of a sex drive. I didnt get all emotional but i did lose the urge to be active with my hubby. It has affected our marriage also. Every now and than i get the urge but its nothing like it use to be. Contact your ob/gyn and ask if its normal. Good luck and hopefully you and your spouse can work things out.

We have 2 boys. When my husband wants it and I can't; he messages my back and neck, that helps. He can also use a viberater messager there to get the blood pumping and harmones flowing again. You problem are out of harmones by now. Talk to your Dr. I use the patch, but it does not work to well. But it is the best thing I have tryed for replacement threrpy so far.

You're probably having a little depression after the baby. Who has time for sex with 4 kids anyway? :) Give it a little time and good luck!
